Bidding Now for
Bidding Closes
Bidding ends at 6:00:00 PM PST each day for a 12:00 AM PST rental period that lasts for the full calendar day. Bidding never stops, with bids at 6:00:01 PM PST applying to the following 24 hour day beginning in 30 hours at 12:00 AM PST the following day.
Daily prices are listed next to the domain names. The person who has the highest bid for a domain at 6 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST) each day will have the amount deducted from their account right before midnight, when it is determined they have the highest bid. The site will change to the destination they desire (what Rentstant refers to as the “Landing Page”) at midnight and remain that way until midnight the following day. Bids of others are shown, if they are the highest. Just because someone has the highest bid during the day, does not mean they will have the highest bid come 6PM PST. To maximize your potential to have a domain, set your bid higher and hopefully it will cause others to step away from bidding. You are only guaranteed 23 hours per day of use for each domain.
You can use the Rentstant search engine and you can click through the various categories. Hopefully we can direct you to the domain name you have been looking for. Sometimes however, it is best to simply click through all of the various categories because a name that you may think is best is not listed in the category where your mind initially goes.
You may also go out on the internet, and if you see a domain that someone has sitting in GoDaddy or another Registrar which is just sitting there with no website yet posted for the domain name, then just ask them if you can rent it until they do build their website (which may be never!). You can let them know: all they have to do is point their domain IP address in their registrar to Rentstant and sign our User Agreement. That’s it, and you can then go in the database, find their domain name, and rent away. Getting something, will always be better than getting nothing…and the day they want to take it off the market, they can do so and launch their website as soon as they are ready to go. It is that simple.
Let’s say someone is the highest bidder to rent a domain name at one penny, and lets also assume they were the highest bidder for an entire year. That means that someone wld be paying one penny for 364 days or $3.64 to rent the domain name every day for the year.
You can rent as many domain names as you want and point them to your website. In fact, you could rent every domain name on the Rentstant site if you would like and point them all to a single website if that is what you choose to do. Or, you can point them to different sites that you own if that’s what you wish to do. All you need is be the highest bidder each day and have the appropriate amount of money in your account.
If you click on this and rent every single domain through out the website, it will show you the cost of every single one of these domains. If you click it and fill in the destination website where you want all these websites pointing (you can only point them to one Landing Page; but you can change them one by one once you have placed you bid on them all) and if you have the appropriate amount of money in your account, it will at the end of the day (assuming you are the highest bidder) instantaneously deduct the appropriate payment and take every one of these domains and point them to the landing page you have requested. In other words, if anyone goes to any one of those pages, your content will come up. Remember that the “Rent All” Price is the current minimum bid to rent every URL on the page; however, if someone pays a penny higher for any one of those domains during the day, then that one domain is no longer in your mix… you still have all the others, minus that one which has been bid up. You will get notified if you choose, and you can go bid higher to get it back; and then all the domains will point to the destination you have requested. If someone bids multiple domains higher during the day, they will fall out of your mix and you can go back to bid on those separately as well, or simply have the group from the Rent All remaning which have not been bid up. Your price will be decreased by the amounts of the domains that have been bid out of your mix.
Remember, the Rent All will stay on daily and you will be charged from your account for the amount you agreed to pay each day until you either run out of money, or others have bid those domains out of your possessions by placing higher bids.
When you hit the Rent All button, all of the people who had been renting these domains will get a message that says the domain they were renting has now been rented by someone else, and if they desire to re-direct it back to the website they had used it for before, they would need to place a higher bid. The individual with the highest bid by 6 pm that day will be the winner.
At the moment, Rentstant does not allow rentals to extend beyond one day. However in the future, we will establish a manner to make that happen. But it is not up for now. The only way you can ensure you are the owner for as long as possible is to be the highest bidder each day and hope that the owner does not take it down for another purpose that they want to use it for.
Our bet is that if you can rent the right domain name, it will be far easier to get it to the top of a search engine than some of the other obscure, non-sensical names that may not even be affordable to purchase. Give it a shot. We think you will spend a great deal more trying to get a weak name to the top of a search engine (and still may fail) where the right name can get to the top at a fraction of the cost. This is essentially “found money” laying on the ground.
If someone comes and offers more money than you for a domain name, you can always offer more. And if it is more than you want to pay, then at least you had it for as long as you can for what you hopefully felt was a great deal. While we can’t promise you that you will be able to keep the domain forever unless you buy it, we do believe you will likely find domains here that are better than anywhere else you can find, and be able to use them far more cheaply than you will anywhere else. Who knows, maybe you’ll be able to keep it a lot longer than you think?
Lets say you have a carpet cleaning business in San Diego, but all the domain names that have the words “Carpet Cleaning” in it are taken or cost more than $5000. Let’s say you see “SanDiegoCarpetCleaning.com” for rent on Rentstant for one cent per day. While there is no promises, clearly for every person who types in the words “San Diego Carpet Cleaning” into the search engine, if you possess through ownership or renting those exact 22 letters (SanDiegoCarpetCleaning) that the person typed in, Google is going to have a tough time not putting you in the top of their list if you have reasonable content on your website. And they should, as there is a high likelihood you website is exactly what the person who typed those words into the search engine is looking for. There are lots or reasons good domains come up more effectively in a search engine, and this is just one. Your great content, and the other websites who link to you, are another.
While you don’t have too to win the bid on Rentstant, we highly recommend it. Without one, there is nowhere to point the domain you are renting too.
No, it must be hosted on another domain. But if you rent it and someone comes through that web address to your page, it will show up at the top of your website in the web address bar. For example if your website is about dog walking, and you have built it on the domain name “JoanyJohnson.com”, and you rent the domain name “DogWalking.com” (which you point your IP address for Joany Johnson at) , everyone who comes through DogWalking.com will see DogWalking.com in the web address bar at the top of the page. It is of course fine if your webpage also says “DogWalking.com”, and it may even be more helpful as people will understand better that the site content and web address bar are consistent; however, do note that the very next day it is “possible” that someone else may pay a higher price and rent that domain name from the system. You can attempt to rent it back the following day however, by being the highest bidder for that day.

It provides information about the quality of the domain name you have rented so advertisers and others have a perspective regarding the traffic that the domain you rented gets. It also gives renters and owners a sense of the traffic that continues to build on the various website for which a domain name is now placed. Please do not disturb or attempt to remove this floating link or you will be removed from the system and not allowed to use Rentstant any more.
No, it must remain showing and not obscured in any way. If you attempt to turn it off or obscure the link you will be prohibited from ever renting this or any domain name from Rentstant again. It is required in order to rent Rentstant domain names.
It can happen at any time. If the owner takes back the domain name during the day of rental, for that day only, Rentstant will return to you your cash for that day (not any previous days). If they turn off the domain in the first hour or the last hour of the day, Rentstant will reimburse you for ONLY the amount you paid for the domain name.
If you have invested in other marketing programs or spent any other dollars around that domain, but for some reason you are out bid or the owner takes it down, Rentstant accepts no liability for this. Your choice to use these names is fully your own choice and responsibility in doing so. Rentstant makes no promises regarding the duration for which you will have use of these domain names – not even promising for the first day of use. We will do our best to keep them as long as possible – and if owners feel they are making meaningful money from this, they will likely leave them longer. However, there are no guarantees whatsoever.
Yes. By signing our Terms and Conditions, you agree to abide by our rules and we require you own the other website you are having the Rentstant domain name point too. This ensures that all users are getting legitimate content that belongs to the person renting this domain. We can not imagine why anyone would have issue with having more traffic taken to their website, however, we are not taking any chances. Just point them to yours.
Pay more. And don’t miss church. Supply and demand models demonstrate that the higher a price goes, typically, the less buyers exist. Raise your price and cause them to fold. It may be cheaper than trying to buy search terms in a search engine.
Yes. We are well aware that criminals exist. Any perceived desire to use a domain that may violate a Trademark law or be used to Phish or dishonorably mislead consumers or businesses will be immediately taken down and the renter will be forbidden from using the Rentstant service. In certain illegal circumstance, legal action may be immediately taken.
No. These domains do not belong to Rentstant and we want to ensure people who own these are building value and are satisfied that their domains are pointed at non-adult, sexual content. Do not even consider “soft” porn. Anyone who violates our policy in this regard will be immediately shut down , forbidden from using the service ever again in every aspect, and potentially receive notification of legal actions being served. If you want to do something questionable, then buy the domain and go do it completely at your own risk.
Even if the domain for rent sounds like it may be pornographic by nature, please do not rent it. Perhaps you can buy it; but we do not want any of our sites to have anything to do with pornography. If you buy it, it is yours and no longer associated with Rentstant and you can go do what you like. It is just too much risk for us to allow renting and posting of pornographic content.
Please do not violate the integrity of the domains which we have been entrusted to share and rent with you. Please do not risk the integrity of our entire business and service by doing this. Unfortunately, we will not hesitate to take legal action. We have not choice. Thank you for your understanding and abidance with our Terms and Conditions.
Because it was made for amazing people just like you! Yes, we will have your baby.
Of Course. Let say you have an airline that you own, and you want to own every domain in the travel section. If you click on the "Rent All" button for the Travel section, it will show you the cost of every single one of these domains and the total for the group. If you click it and fill in the destination website where you want all these domain names pointing (you can only point them to one Landing Page; but you can change them one by one once you have placed you bid on them all) and if you have the appropriate amount of money in your account (which is 10 days worth of runway), it will change these all to your designated Landing Page by Midnight (12 AM PST) that same evening...assuming you are the highest bidder for all of these domains by at 6 PM PST that same day. The system will instantaneously deduct the appropriate payment from you account and then point every one of the domains to the landing page you have requested. In other words, if anyone goes to any one of those Travel domains, your content will come up.
Remember that the “Rent All” Price in the Travel Section is the current minimum bid to rent every domain name in the Travel Section; however, if someone pays a penny higher for any one of those domains during the day, then that one domain is no longer in your mix… you still have all the others, minus that one which has been bid up. You will get notified if you choose, and you can go bid higher to get the domain you lost back, by bidding highest by 6PM PST; and then all the domains will point to the destination you have requested. If someone bids multiple domains higher during the day, they will fall out of your mix and you can go back to bid on those separately as well – or if choose not to go after those specific ones as well, you will simply have the group from the Travel Section that did not get bid higher over the course of that day by others. Your price will be decreased by the amounts of the domains that have been bid out of your mix.
Remember, the Travel Section “Rent All” will stay on daily and you will be charged from your account for the amount you agreed to pay each day until you either run out of money, or others have bid those domains out of your possessions by placing higher bids.
When you hit the Rent All button in the Travel Category (or likewise on all the categories) all of the people who had been renting these domains will get a message that says the domain they were renting has now been rented by someone else along with the price you are paying, and if they desire to re-direct it back to the website they had used it for before, they would need to place a higher bid. The individual with the highest bid by 6 PM PST that day will be the winner and have it pointing at their website.
Yes, if they are currently unrented and say “Free”, then you can point them at your website and continue to do so until someone decides to rent them. When someone bids a penny on the domain you have for free, it will then point to their website. But who knows if that will be hours, months or years before they do. Once they do, for you to get them back, you have to pay a higher price. You can get up to five domains for free and point them at one or multiple sites that you own. If there are no domains for free, then you obviously can't get any. On your 6th site, you would need to pay at least the minimum, which is one cent per day.
You are allowed to get five websites for free, and assuming there are some that are free within the group you have rented – and you have not used all of your five for free that you receive, then it will decrease the price to adjust for the free domains you get. Note that Rentstant will never increase the price you pay above what you see listed on the page, only decrease when appropriate.
Yes, this assists in the categorization of your content and website with broader search engines and online applications. We do not want any violations with Google or Google Adwords and try to meet what are the standard requirements for interacting across the web. This helps protect the value of your work, and more importantly to us, the value of the domain name which the Owner is allowing both Rentstant and you to use. It is important we both protect that value, or we risk the Owner choosing to take it down and losinng the opportunity to leverage it for everyone, if we do not.
The last thing we want is for you to damage the value of the domain that you are borrowing (renting). Please ensure you are not violating any of the industry policies which may hurt the value of the domain and make it unregisterable with the search engines across the industry. Here are several links of information to review on this topic, and our system scans to ensure you meet basic standards before we post your content. If you do not, we will not post your content, and it is possible you could lose your payment for that day. Be sure you are W3C compliant before you bid, and you won’t risk wasting your money.

This is called "shill bidding" and is strickly forbidden. Shill bidding occurs if an individual or their family, friends, employees or other relationships bid on a domain with the intent to push the price or demand up for a domain name artificially. Friends may rent or purchase domains, however, they can not do so with the intent of artificially increasing the price or desirablity of a domain. If someone does this, they and the Owner risk having their accounts suspended, being kicked off the system and subjected to legal actions. Penalties can be severe, and in many places "shill bidding" is illegal, so law enforcement could be involved. Therefore, be careful to follow these guidelines closely. Reach out anytime you have questions.
If you suspect an Owner is conducting "shill bidding" report the circumstances and username of the person involved and the domain names they are doing this with on Rentstant and we will investigate case. Things that look like shill bidding may not necessarily be so. For example, when Auto-Bid is on for a domain and people see a price go up every time they bid, sometimes they perceive that the owner may be working against them, when in fact it is merely another bidder seeking to keep possession of a domain as well.
Yes, however, they may not do so with the core intent of artificially driving up the price or desirability of a specific domain name or category of domain names. When in doubt, buyers, renters and sellers can speak with professionals at Rentstant to ensure that we know internal deals are above board when they occur.
Those who violate the integrity of the system risk being kicked off of Rentstant and having all involvement suspended, and law enforcement engaged. In many places,
Yes. Maybe you should. But if we have a better name, at a fraction of the cost to rent than to buy…one that is easier to get higher in the search rankings and can drive more traffic, maybe the Rentstant rental will be better for you? You decide. Also, some of the names are for sale as well. So give it a test drive then buy it later if you can.
No. Only the winning bid has to pay. At 6 PM Pacific Standard Time, Rentstant determines who offered the highest bid, and the site will be turned to their content at 12:00 am (midnight) for the next 24 hours.
Each bid stays up every day until you turn it off or until you do not have more money in your account. However, if you post Automatic Bid, your bid will rise automatically above any bid that is received which is less than your maximum bid. And anytime the bid price drops below your maximum on the Automatic Bid, the system will enable you to rent the domain for the lowest price you can possibly pay above a competitor, that enables you to get the domain will have you get the domain. But again, with Automatic Bid, you must have 10 days of runway (in otherwords, 10 days worth of payments) before you can bid. So if something is at a dime a day, you must have 10 cents to pay.

Only when you set up your username, and never again. Users can not go create other User accounts to do this again. If caught they will be suspended from the system. We may end this over time, or we may expand the program. We will see how things go. Its’ good to be the king. Oh, the power... :)
Sorry, its a bummer but it can happen to anyone. You need to have the highest bid at 6PM PST or you won't get the domain. Try a higher bid. And you could try to do the same to them the next day. Eventually one of you will tire out and the person who wants it most will get the domain. If this becomes a big issues we will consider how we change or manage sniping in the future and suggestions are welcomed at support@Rentstant.com .
No. It will stay at the maximum amount it reached for at least one week. If no one rents it at that price again, it will drop by 20%. If no one rents it again after another week, it will drop again by 20%. And it will continue doing this until it reaches zero, or "free." This process is subject to change without warning. Our goal is of course to maximize the rentability of everyone's domains.
Yes, we refer to these people as “Owners”, and Owners may submit as many domains as they would like for Rent and Sale. You can also upload large nubmers of domains at once. On the Homepage in the Search Bar, you will see a tab for Submit Domain Names for Rent. After clicking on that you will see that there is a link in the Search Bar which states Bulk Upload. Also, you can go to the top right of the Homepage and you will see a blue button labled Submit Domains.
On these links, you can either upload 10 domains that you enter one at a time, or you can do significantly more by downloading our bulk upload Excel spreadsheet. We don't know how many the system will accept at once at the moment. Time will tell.
The terms of rental are simple. You receive 50% of whatever a Renter pays, and Rentstant will receive 50% of what a Renter pays. So if a Renter pays two cents per day, you get once cent, and Rentstant gets one cent. This is subject to change in the future, and we will let you know if we change it; but currently, it is a 50:50 exchange. 50% to you, and 50% to Rentstant, while Rentstant carries the costs of creating, hosting and managing the service. Thank you for trusting us as an intermediary for Renters of your domain name(s).
Once submitted, we strongly suggest you categorize, tag and market your domains yourself to potential renters. You will always do far better than we can with your domains. Though we will do what we can to assist.
Point your Domains to Rentstant: Next, you must point the IP Address of all of your Domains to Rentstant. If you do not do this, they will not show up in our system and you will not be able to rent them. If you have done it correctly, Rentstant will send you a confirmation email noting which domains you have pointing at Rentstant. The IP address for Rentstant is 50.63.158.191 Different Registrars have different processes in regards to how to do this, so we created steps for 5 of the big Registrars. If you have problems pointing to our IP address, we suggest you call your Registrar, let them know the Domain Names you want pointed to Rentstant, give them our IP address, and have them walk you through the process.

Not yet. We may in the future, as by doing so it will enable us to provide some services which we cannot currently provide.
You receive 50% of whatever a renter pays. So if a renter pays two cents per day, you get one cent, and Rentstant gets one cent. This is subject to change in the future, and we will let you know if we change it; but currently, it is a 50:50 exchange.
Click on the “Bulk Upload” button which is located within the Seach bar of the HomePage. There is also a Submit Rentals button in the upper right of the Homepage. Once on the Bulk Upload page, you can either choose to upload 10 at a time on the Bulk Upload sheet, or at the bottom you will find an attachment for an excel spreadsheet which will allow you to upload significantly more at a time. With that sheet you can copy and paste large numbers of domain names from where you have a list, put them into the excel sheet, and then use the sheet to upload the domains and and put them into the system.
Categorization, Tagging and List Sales Price, if Selling: It is important you do this as you upload these into the system. You can upload your domain names in the Rentstant system without this, though you will have to point the IP Address of the Domain Names to Rentstant - or they will not show up in the Rentstant database when people search for domain names.
Categorization: This helps users to find Domains and without it, our automated system will not do as good a job as you will. You can, if appropriate, put your domains in up to 5 categories each.
Tags: Owners may "tag" domains with related words to make them easier to search, not necessarily the identical word you type into the search engine. For example, for the word "match" maybe associated with boxing, matches, tennis, dating, spark, fire, lighter, same, equal, identical and a variety of other terms.
List Sales Price, if Selling: If you choose to list your domain for sale, you should list the price here. If you do not list a price, it will say, "Not for Sale". Buyers can still extend an offer to you.
We request that you give your people a minimum of three days notice, though we prefer if you can try to give Renters one weeks notice. In otherwords, post the date that it will be taken down 3 to 7 days before, using the notification tool where you manage the domain. This allows people to think about renting another domain name and staying happy with the service, which is important to us, and to you over the long run. We ask that you take care of your customers who are partners in making your domains and the service more valuable. If you are not willing to give your renters this courtesy we may choose to not allow you to use the Rentstant service. It is important that we take good care of the Renters for the benefit of everyone in the network. Thank you for your consideration.
Never. Owners can not bid on thier own names, nor can friends, family or others with the intent of artificially driving up the price of a domain. That his called "Shill Bidding" which artificially drives up the price of a domain and takes advantage of other bidders. If an Owner is caught doing so, they will be kicked out of the system permanently and there is a strong possibilty legal action will be taken.
Yes, however they can not do so with the intent of driving up the price of a domain name. They must rent it and participate in the market as everyone else does with the sincere intent of renting the domain. Any artificial manipulations risk the integrity of the platform for everyone, so you will be removed, the Owner will be removed and both may be subject to legal actions.
It is important you track the expiration dates of your domains with your Registrar and not let them expire unless you want to let them go. If they expire, there is a strong likelihood your Renter may be the one who wants to register it. We ask that you are careful not to let your domain unexpected expire, and if you intend to let it expire, perhaps you can sell it to your renter instead by giving them a heads up. At minimum, you should notify your Renter one week ahead.
Stating the question more clearly: an Rentstant Apply my Rental Money to my Registrar (GoDaddy, NameCheap, etc) to pay my Annual Tithes to the King - also Referred to as Annual Registrar to the US Govt and Registrar?
No, not yet; but we intend to add this feature in the future. So if your Registrar allows, and if you build up value from Renters in your account, we will look to apply it towards your Registrar fees. Send us your email if you want to be notified when this service is activated. Let us know at edwardalexanderwhois@gmail.com.
No. It will stay at the maximum amount it reached for at least one week after the last bid. If no one rents it at that price again, it will drop by 20% after one week. If no one rents it again after another week, it will drop again by another 20%. And it will continue doing this, falling by 20% each week, until the domain reaches free once again.
Yes, if it has a price next to it, you can click on the Buy Now button and follow the steps to begin the process. Rentstant completes its purchases through Escrow.com. Escrow.com is a highly reliable service which has completed hundreds of thousands of purchases for companies and individuals. Once the first step has been completed (which is to pay the money listed by the Owner as the Purchase Price) the Seller will then be notified to take the next step of acknowleging the deposit and telling Escrow.com they approve and to begin the transfer.
If the Owner does not have a Purchase Price and it says "Not For Sale", people are still able to place an offer to Buy the domain to the Owner, however, we ask that you give consideration to what legitmate offer may look like and not annoy the Owner with unreasonable offers or too many messages. You can look for comparable prices by looking at the prices for domains for sale on Rentstant, BuyDomains.com and Sedo.com. If the Owner gives you a price they will take, they will note it by changing the price in the Rentstant system at which time you can purchase the domain for that price - and begin the process by putting the dollars into the Escrow.com account.
Yes, you must Register on the system. We suggest you consider Renting your name as well, as there is no downside to having someone Rent it first if we can find the right person - and Renters often turn into Buyers. But it is not mandatory to Rent and you can simply post a sales price on your Domain and see if anyone comes to buy it. We recommend you set a price that is reasonable, and you can see what market prices are for various domains by review Rentstant, BuyDomains.com or Sedo.com.
Not for Sale: If you choose not to sell your domain, it will be labled with the words "Not For Sale" although people can still click on "Make an Offer" and let you know what they would be willing to pay for it.
Make Offer: Buyers may decide to make an offer even though your domain is not for sale. It is obviously up to you whether you accept it or not. If you do, the sale will be conducted through third party provider, Escrow.com.
Cost: Rentstant charges 12% of the purchase price as a fee to complete the sale. This comes out of the sales price. Escrow.com also has a small fee that is over and above the price of the domain to process the sale.
Let us know. We will consider removing them completely from our system. But note that Rentstant does not have possession of these domain names so we cannot control the process end to end; however, if someone is knowingly misleading buyers we will drop them from the Rentstant network altogether.
You can reach out to send a message through the Message platforrm Support@Rentstant.com You can let them know what you are looking for price wise, or perhaps consider droping the price in order to get them interested. If they accept, they will confirm on the system and begin the purchase through Escrow.com.
If we uncover this or recognize this as occurring, we will kick both the Buyer and Seller permanently out of the system. Our fees are nominal in the broader sense and we work in large part on a trust basis, assuming that Buyers and Sellers recognize we are working hard to provide a valuable service to them - and our service has been expensive for us to create and maintain, so we hope you to weill feel we are worthy of the nominal fees we earn.
We suggest you stay within 10% of the asking price, however, you can offer the seller any amount you wish. Do not repetitively annoy our Sellers or we will have to remove you from the Rentstant Network. If the domain is not for sale, you can still make an offer, but there is a reasonable likelihood the person has no interest in selling the domain.
You can let us know, and if we have another way to reach out them (SMS?) we will see what we can do to get their attention. However, in some circumstances, there may be nothing we can do. Think of it like a girl who does not want to date you and simply does not return your phone calls. You could potentially agree to take her to some place nicer (or offer a bit more) and see if that peaks her interst?
There are two times Users can enter payment information - credit card data - for Rentals:
1) During Registration it allows people to enter their payment information if they desire at that time. If desire to wait before entering their credit card information at this time, they can simply register, and put in their credit card information later if they desire.
2) The second time people can enter payment information - is when they have registered, they can click on their User Name on the top of the homepage which takes them into the overall control panel. In that panel, within the Profile section, is a link for Account Balance and Payments. Click on this link and it will give you instructions for how to enter a credit card, add a new credit card, and set up Automatic Payments when you Account decreases with cash to a certain threshold.
The Renter will typically charge their account, in a pre-paid manner, with for example $25, and when the person rents the domain for $.01 per day, the platform takes $.01 per day from their account for that domain name for as long as the Renter rents the domain. When someone else pays more to rent it, or if the Renter runs out of money or decides to stop renting the domain name, only then does the system stop charging the account.
When a Buyer desires to purchase a domain Name, they will click "Buy Now" and be brought into the Escrow.com interface, our third party intermediary managing the transfer of domain names between Buyers and Sellers. Within the Escrow.com interface, they will upload their credit card information separately from what they put into the Rentstant interface for Renting domain names. So they will have to re-enter their credit card information for Escrow.com and give them the information as well, in order to complete the transfer from the Owner.
Initially the system will be set up to accept MasterCard, PayPal or Visa. We will eventually accept BitCoin and will encourage our users to use this when possible. The owners of Rentstant believe that value exchange protocols (or "money" as the Govt prefers to refer to them) “of the people, by the people and for the people” are the future. And that the US Govt’s ordained monopolies (masterCard, Visa and large banks) are running out of time until their exclusiveness, high fees and Govt-abused value are brought into check by high quality, low cost, consumer-oriented service of alternative currencies (instead of Politician-oriented service of Govt currencies).

No. Not yet. Perhaps in the future based upon the demand for these new payment services. If you have specific requests, please email your perspectives to Rentstant at edwardalexanderwhois@gmail.com.
When you set your account up to allow for automatic payments, the system automatically charges more from your account when your account falls below a certain dollar threshold. This helps prevent Renters from losing possession of a domain they may be renting for a website. For example, if you charge your account to $20 the automatic threshold will likely be set such than when you fall below $5, it automatically charges you back up to $20. If you charge your account to $10 the automatic threshold will likely be set such than when you fall below $2, it automatically charges you back up to $10.
Rentstant requires 10 days of run way so that Renters actually have the potential to hold something they rent more than a day. We do not want to create work from the person they are taking it from, if the person who choose to rent the domain away from another, if they intend to only do so for one day. The Renter does have the option to turn a domain off after only one day of Rental, however, we require they have 10 days of runway to win the bid. The same applies for renting a category, or to rent all the domains on the website. If the Music category was $5/day to Rent, the Renter must have $50 in order to make that bid. Likewise, if Renting all domains on the website for $10/day, the potential Renter must have a minimum of $100 in order place that bid.
Then you risk losing your domain. You will not get them, someone else may. You can try to rent them back, but likely at a higher price, after losing them for a day or two.
Not at the moment, but we may enable in the future. If you wld like email us to discuss, and if we have time to coach you on this, we are open to discussing. Email Rentstant at edwardalexanderwhois@gmail.com and they will review sending you the bank wire information.
Nothing is ever perfectly secure, however, Rentstant has utilized 3rd party software from Authorize.Net as we do not want to keep credit card information on our servers, and we believe their system is the most secure that we are familiar with. We will always work hard to do our best to protect your creditcard information and domain integrity.
